2004 –GOHAR SAFFRON was founded as an exporter of saffron and started exporting saffron to Middle East.
2005 – The Chemical and Microbiological Test Laboratory was established as part of the company to ensure the quality and purity of saffron. The company expanded its target market to European countries and Australia. The UAE office was established as the exclusive franchisee of GOHAR SAFFRON in the UAE.
2006 – GOHAR SAFFRON achieved the Utilization License and the Constitution License of Iran's Ministry of Hygiene. The company obtained the Utilization License by Iran's Ministry of Industry and the Production License of Iran's Ministry of Hygiene. GOHAR SAFFRON also received Iran's Institute of Standard and Industrial Research License. The amount of exported saffron was increased by %63 in comparison with the previous year.
2007 – The Spain office was established as the exclusive franchisee of GOHAR SAFFRON in Spain. New packages were designed as a result of customers' demands for small packages.
2008 – GOHAR SAFFRON was chosen as the prominent exporter of saffron. The amount of saffron exported was increased by 100%.
2009 – GOHAR SAFFRON was chosen as the prominent exporter of saffron for the second time in Iran.
2010 – GOHAR SAFFRON exported 11270 kg of saffron, more than %85 of which was exported to Europe and was chosen as the Iran's Premier exporter for the first time and was also chosen as the prominent exporter of saffron for the third year in a row. GOHAR SAFFRON was elected as Iran's Food Administration Organization Premier Producer.
2011 – GOHAR SAFFRON was certified for conformity with U.S Food and Drug Administration, FDA. The company also achived ISO 9001 for management and verification of good quality management practices, OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and HACCP for Hazardd Analysis Critical Control Points. The company started exporting saffron to 5 other countries for the first time. GOHAR SAFFRON signed agreements with its franchisees in Sweden and Germany. The company was the biggest exporter of saffron according to the amount of saffron produced and exported and was the premier exporter of saffron for the fourth year in a row.
2012 – GOHAR SAFFRON achieved SA8000 Standard for Social Accountability International Standard. The company is now the biggest exporter of saffron according to the amount of saffron produced and exported and was the premier exporter of saffron in the world.
2013 - GOHAR SAFFRON was certified for conformity with the international ISO 22000 for food safty management. The company was chosen as the prominent exporter of Iran for 3^th time in a row and 5^th time in a row in Khorasan Razavi Province. Gohar Saffron was selected as the National top exporter of 2013 at the ceremony which was held on OCT 14th, 2013, in Iran's Trade Organization. Gohar Saffron extended its product to fresh Dates, Raisin, Barberry, Watermelon Seeds, and Dried limes.
